Simulated Security Council differs from the other committees in that the committee topic will be announced the day of the conference. You will be given a scenario, based in reality, that requires the attention of the Security Council. During the conference, updates to the scenario will be given. The scenario will be fluid and will be changing throughout the conference.
This year, delegates are advised to examine the current situation in the South China Sea in preparation for the conference.
