Hotel Information
Special Conference Rate Arrangements have been made for a special rate during the conference at the Doubletree Downtown Dayton Hotel about a block from the conference center. Two to three persons can occupy each room. DAYMUNC XVII Conference Rate: $82 per night Quoted rates will be offered by the hotel, subject to availability, for the day before and the day after if any group wants to come early or stay later to experience the various local attractions. Reservations must be booked no later than mid-January, 2010—after this date reservations will be accepted at the regular room rate of $99-119 and are subject to availability. Please contact the Doubletree directly to make your reservations. To make reservations, call (937) 461-4700 and be sure to say that you are with the Dayton Model UN Conference (not DAYMUNC). If you run into problems with whomever answers, ask to talk to Jennifer Bricker. Also, remember that if you are an Ohio college, you get a tax exemption. Parking For delegates choosing to park at the hotel, parking is ten dollars ($10.00) per day with unlimited access. Those who prefer to park in the campus garage will pay $2 per exit. Parking in the garage overnight is permissible if you provide the Director with make, model and license number of your vehicle (to instruct the campus police not to ticket you) by emailing this information to director@daymunc.org. |
